AHOY LAND LUBBERS!

Thats proffessional speak for sailors peeps! Joey and i had a glorious time at Villa Pole on Karragara. For those of you that are wondering what the hell I'm talking about, Karragara is the island home of Joey's mama and papa, quietly nestled in Morton Bay. There's a reason real estate is booming there- that place is awsome! We spent the evening having a bon fire and a few beeries on the beach. The next day we headed off on the house boat, sailing (motoring technically!) past straddie, russel, lamb, just to name a few islands. This place is a nature wonderland... we were surrounded by a pod of maybe, 6 dolphins, for about 15 minutes. We got to see them hunting fish! Pretty spectacular. There were turtles, kite birds, black swans (?!)... and more! What a perfect day. After a weary day fishing and enjoying sceanery, we headed back to eat flathead and sandcrabs, caught by John. Summery: Fresh fish, fresh air, good company! Thanks to Val and John for a lovley weekend getaway x
